This is by far the worst credit card lending organization. As all of you have wrote I have faced
60016001 number never getting connected and always busy for 4 months amost (tried atleast 100 times)
received PIN after 2 months of application, out of the blue. Also not at the correspondence address but second address.
When called at the number 60004444 it got connected (I was lucky that day) but the representative over teh phone told me that he can’t help me about status of my card which never reached me. I asked him to check whether my act with teh card organization is active , any purchases, he said the system is down for 3 days and cant help me an dhave a "good day" (funny isn’t it?).
The same thing happened twice later, only change that Barclays provided was the change in the customer srv representative :-)
Most shocking thing was: Barclays bank people came to my company which is an MNC and is one of the biggest in the world, promised all sort of things like PVR movie tickets 1+1free lifetime , given silver coin (Yahoo..at least I got that) and so many things...
Many people applied for the same , , , , sadly none of them got the card till date.
I was till today, hopeful of tracking my card and using the card, , , but after all these reviews about billing and payment issues, I dont want to be cruel with myself in future.... so will drop the idea altogether...
As I know, Barclays is one of the biggest bank in the world. But is this the way to waste their own money (application, verification etc costs money to the bank)...they should donate the amount to charity..... that will make people like us also happy.
