I dont know how Barclays Card came into existence . The people working there do not know what Cutomer Service is. They just simply dont understand how a Credit Card should work . And they dont seem to be bothered when you complain.
Barclays Bank takes its own sweet time to clear cheques from the drop boxes and a failure on their part to collect the cheques will result in a penalty for the customer .
There is penalty charges levied. Then you call up the Customer Care, they dont seem to be bothered . They will say they will revert after verifying their internal records. But the next month , there is interest charged on the penalty. And the following month, there is interest charged on the interest plus the penalty.
You call up. The customer care centres are so friendly that they ask you to pay up as that is the only thing which they have been trained on!
Please pay up the Card and close your Account with Barclays.
