Bareily Ki Barfi is a SWEET film to watch.
The story of a very uncommon girl from a lower middle class family in small town Bareily, who struggles to get married, as she doesn’t fit into ideal good girl box, but her life takes a turn when she reads a book name "Bareily Ki Barfi" she goes on search of the writer of the book that changes her life and she finds her match made in heaven, her "would be" her "match"(her man) loves her the way she is, and fall in love with her, so she no more have to change anything about herself to fit into ideal good girl box to get married. Happy Ending.
These story brings out very common issue of peer pressure of marriage that every girl faces in a interesting way.
So first I want to thanks the writers Sreyas Jain, Nitesh Tiwari for bringing out this issue so beautifully,
industry forgets that these days the story is the real hero of the film, but this film has a good hero(story).
Actors did good job, specially Awesome job done by RajKummar Rao( some credits to the writers who wrote such interesting character) followed by Pankaj Tripathy and then Ayushmann Khurrana.
Kriti Shanon did her job quite well, but she is a wrong casting done for this role, she no where looked like a small town girl, or the lower middle class family girl who works in electricity board department.
Music is good, reminded me of the music from tanu wed mannu series.
Direction was a fair job too, its not very high budget film so there is a compromise in how the film looks, and the cinematography.
All in all, its a good sweet film to go with your family and watch.
it will not let anyone down.
