I watched this movie on the first day of release without too much expectations and I came away with a good feeling. What I liked about this movie was that nobody was sad that the boy was born deaf and mute and just take it in their stride. Ranbir was good of course, but Priyanka’s act was a revelation. She has really done a great job- so unglamorous and natural.
Though a lot of hue and cry has been made about the copy cat acts from other movies, it was well adapted and it looks like it has come out of jealousy at being left out of the race.
Ranbir is sure to win national awards and many more prestigious awards for this movie.The songs came at the right time and did not affect the flow of the movie.
This is a must watch movie for all Ranbir and Priyanka fans and fans of sensible movies without much melodrama.
