Till sometime back we had all heard about the coffee -culture, wherein, if you have nothing to do then u go and grab a cup of coffee and gas with your friends, or maybe sit all by yourself and ponder. Starbucks was the name I was familiar with, just like most of us. The chain of coffee shops in the US my cousins couldn’t stop talking about.
So when Barista finally arrived in our city I was definitely among the first to try. And I was impressed I must say. The coffees are moderately priced. And the little knick-knacks are tempting. Being a coffee drinker I enjoy the different flavours that are offered. Try the chocolate excess, its VOW !!!! just dig into the melted chocolate and the taste just takes you to another planet.
The ambience is quite charming. The orange peach colours on the walls give you feeling of calm yet can be very trendy and loud. In fact the orangie peach colour has almost become a trademark. You see a board of that colour anywhere and you know its coffee time !!!
The one thing like about the place is that it does not intimidate you. You can just go there and be yourself and do your own thing. If I have to meet up with friends for a quick coffee or a quick bite, then Barista is the first choice. And now that they are mushrooming all over the city, you find them just about everywhere. And then there are those ever so charming tenders (baristas). who always welcome you with a warm smile and a friendly greeting. And that’s what a whole lot of us are looking for, a friendly face who doesn’t mean much to us but for that one moment they give us a reason to smile.
For those who haven’t been there yet (though I doubt that) I suggest you do. Not just for coffee but for the experience. There are lots of other coffee bars springing up, but for me, barista does the thing. but at Barista you’ll leave with a smile and the aroma of the coffee beans will definitely take you back....again.
