Tere bin -- jiyaa jaa saktaa hai !!!!

For the funny part go to the Goofy/Quotes section.

The Plot :

------------

The story about three friends who party one night and one of them ends up in a tussle with someone in the party. There is an accidental gun-shot and ends up shooting one of his friends. He ends up in jail as the other offender has tie-ups in the "system". He gets out of jail, thanks to the efforts of the third friends wife. Once he is back he sees that the girl whom he was attracted towards is about to get married to the friend whom he had shot and is now bound to a wheel chair for life. The third friend is an alchoholic and has a bad marriage. Now the story unfolds into a sequence of events with an interesting surprise to the story later.

The plus points :

------------------------

The scenes are shot well so it gives an impression of an above average movie. Some amazing trailer sequences can be made out of them. I wonder why didnt they utilize the shots better in their trailers.

Full points to the actors.

With the limitations galore given to the actor as regards the visibly confused description of scenes, I would say all the actors have done their best in the seperate individual shots and look good.

( This comment was totally from the actors viewpoint and not the viewers. )

The overall music n tracks are good. The only song that is making waves "tere bin" is at the end of the movie along with credits. :-)

The negative points :

-----------------------------

Till now the review seems to be all well. But then I had been factual about it till now.

This is a "How-to-" instructional movie in the sense of "How important a screenplay is ? OR How a screenplay (single handedly) can screw up the entire movie !!!".

I really wonder why this site "mouthsut" hasnt put "screenplay" as a category for rating. Its very much possible that the cinematography might be good. The basic storyline/plot might be good. The acting can be good. The music can be good. But what if the screenplay is pathetic.

Well the major components of a screenplay are action and dialogue, with the "action" being "what we see happening" and "dialogue" being "what the characters say".

The screenplay screwed up the entire show. The sequencing of events and the amazing (@#$@$$) quality of dialogues makes it a terrible drag. One feels nauseated at the end of unending complications and sequence of events and poor dialogues to fill them. Fluctuating and unjustified intensities of emotions at times. The characters and their relationships not clearly established properly. A terrible drag product at the end of it. Thanks to the screenplay alone.

The Goofs/quotes

------------------------

=> The friend after being shot is on the bed in the hospital. The lady friend visits him. The   obscure character ( 5 seconds on screen) of the patients mother suddenly says it aloud from the background

"maine kitni baar kaha thaa ki nikhil se saath mat raha kar"

did she actually feel that someday he’s gonna snatch someone’s gun and shoot her son ???

=> The stalker peeps through the window at the beautiful lady in a night gown. Calls her up and then .......... starts whistling ... the lady is upset ...and even though there is no precedence of any characteristic whistle ..identifies him coz only a stalker has a signature whistling tune. And suddenly something out of this world happens .......The shistling continues for a 3 seconds while the stalker starts uttering his dialogue.

AIIINGGGG ... was there a taped whistle tune used by the stalker which he forgot to stop before speaking ???

=> The lady is in the bathroom. When the lady comes out ... Ohh my gosshhhh the entire bed is full of candles and a red night dress for her to wear.

the scream was genuine and it was absolutely funny to see the horror-spoof kind of a scene.

=> Now the stalker starts to make love to the lady and the lady whispers "tum aisa nahi kar sakte"

damn r u alright ??? or is it some kind of love talk ...

=> Suddenly the damsel in distress is saved by the "magic-vase" that all the women in distress reach out while making love and boommmm the demon-stalker has blood runnin down his head. But this time both look sad at this. And the demon suddenly becomes a cry-baby and says

" main is tarah se kabhi tumhara pyaar nahi chahtaa thaa"

what was he thinking of when he was shopping for the candles, taped whistle tunes, the red night dress and what not... Damnn he forgot the Axe-effect ... thats a tip for all you wannabe stalkers. Dont forget the axe effect.

=> A serious scene with the wheel-chair bound friend is trying to explain to his fiance about the "major-twist" in the movie. This is shot with the rains as an add--n effect to make it look intense/gloomy n stuff. Suddenly the beautiful lady responds

"main ghar jaa rahee huun. mujhe kuch samajh me nahi aa raha"

what ??? is that an indication that we should do the same and for the same reasons ???
