In September 2017. I bought a sports shoes from bata. I trusted this brand as I’m using bata since my secondary school. It was compulsory in my school uniform. But, this time, I was very disappointed with my recent purchase.
The bad thing about this shoe is that the air cross ventilation in the shoe is very very bad. Due to this, there was bad smell inside shoe after two weeks of use. And, due to this smell, I stopped using it after one month and kept it aside for two months. After two months when I started dusting off and rubbing the sole of my shoe. The sole material started shedding off like a powder. The rubber in the grip are got dry and got powder like and after that, there was a hole in it.
When I took shoes to bata showroom they didn’t support me much. They said it’s my fault that I didn’t use the shoe for two months. He told me that bata has used a new material in this shoe and if somebody doesn’t use it, the rubber sole starts to degrade after 18 to 20 days.
The quality of their shoes has gone down nowadays. So, I won’t recommend buying them.
