BATA- yesterday,today,tomorrow

Since my childhood I remember Bata was the only shoes I been wearing and is wearing till today. My parents have always insisted on Bata shoes. When I was in school I wore Bata canvas shoe and Bata sports shoes. I had a black party shoe from Bata. Even for my wedding I bought shoes from Bata. For me Bata has become like Colgate in tooth paste, Nescafe in coffee and Cadbury’s in chocolate. Even in the market so many other brands are available I simply get a Bata. May be because of brand loyalty.

I like the simplicity of Bata shoes. Bata shoes are not very stylish or not very simple. It like shoes made for the common people. Secondly the shoes are priced very reasonably. Not very costly. Though they have still continued the tradition of price tag of “.99” rupees. Thirdly the shoes are made of good quality leather and other materials. Shoes are soft and durable and last really long. I feel Bata shoes are ruff and tuff shoes. They have a range for all types of people rich, middle class or poor.

For last 25 years I have been wearing Bata shoes. But when ever I visit the showroom every one or two years I see the same type of shoes. Very rarely Bata introduces any new brands in their shoes range. Same style same type no change. It feels very boring to see same shoes. Many times so happened with me that I turn up buying the same shoes as of my previous one. One particular brand called “Moccasins” I wore continued for 4 years. My shoes lasts for around two years

I have tried few other brands of shoes but came back to Bata only. I had bought shoes from Lee Cooper and other local brands but Bata is the best. Right now I am wearing a new range introduced by Bata. This one is broader on the toe, light weight, without lace and soft too. It very modern and stylish too. I wear it with my formals and casuals too.

I am very sure that in the future also I will be loyal to Bata and this tradition may continued to my children’s too. BATA - yesterday, today, tomorrow
