The ad was good and so were the Shoes. But what happened after few days is beyond my understanding. From a leader, Bata turned into a company more into sale of seconds in small and big towns alike. It became very confusing when a salesguy showed me a pair...whether it was a seconds one or a fresh one. Thankfully, slowly, they realised it and made separate places for seconds sales and fresh showrooms. But when are they going to get rid of age old sales guys, oops, uncles in all of their showrooms. Nothing against old men, but if you are in business of selling amd making money, please use fresh faces to make it look better. Also, the display in Bata showrooms is pathetic. Please note you cant have shoes ranging from Rs. 500.00 to Rs. 2000.00 in one rom/column. How do you think a customer is going to decide on what to buy? Its not written on shoe that I’m better and with the price tag, the cheaper shoes always gets a second thought. Also, for years now Bata is offering same designs in shoes, with increased prices every six months, may be one year. Excuse me, I still go to Bata coz the name still matters to me, but to come out disappointed every time is becoming too much for me. Please Please do something before I stop even reading ads of Bata - by choice.
