I am following Bata since a long time. Initially it was good but in between from last 3 to 4 years it was deteriorating with its quality but the prize was going up unexpectedly. My first buy was a shoe for 1.5k which I had to unfortunately stop wearing since it started giving me trouble. After being in the shoe box for 1 year or so I decided to wear it for a party. Unfortunately I reached the venue but couldn’t walk due the pain it was giving me.
Earlier I used to buy any unbranded footwear, the criteria being design and gloss. But I felt as this is a big brand it might last for a long time. But this was not the case.
In 2010, I stepped into a Bata shop and bought a shoe suiting my budget which was a decent looking pair. It looked great with any casual or formal dressing and the comfort level was unbeatable. It was my luck to get such a nice pair of shoes for me. Later I also got a scandals for me from the same shop at Borivali and it is also keeping my faith alive. Hope this quality doesn’t change and my trust in Bata lives long. It has been after a long time that I see Bata is improving.
