Buying online is always a risky affair and a premium is required to be paid to mitigate this risk by buying physically from stores. This premium is usually in the form of discount coupons or lower online prices. I took a calculated risk by visiting Bata Stores, Confirming the product, Size for me, Color Combinations and Price.
I ordered Product online on Bata with the confirmed combinations on 18 Oct’12 at 20% lower price than stores . I received product on 23 Oct’12 though they delivered on 20 Oct 2012(May be it was my reception who forgot to deliver me).
Pros: Product is of same size as ordered. Timely delivery is appreciated. Continual updates on order is commendable. Tracking your product is easy. Regular Emails from Bata keeps your hope alive.
Cons: Packaging is very poor. Product seems to be old though not used. Product doesn’t give a feeling of new and hence "Delight". There is "No Bill" provided along with the Product. Bata doesn’t own a courier service hence delivery is not as perfect as expected(Except Time). Container of product may be broken and Product may be in a little squeezed form.
Products You Shall Buy from Bata: Products which are of less importance in your life. If you can compromise with little mismatch in expectations against the discount in prices. Preferred options are sleepers, floaters that are for regular use and not for special occasions.
