Ok..
This is the scene.
I have been following Baywatch right from the earliest episodes of it....and you know what? They havent changed a bit.
a) They actually shoot for only half an hour (even though their programs are an hour long), since most of their stuff is in slow motion
b) There are babes!
Now, it is quite simple to just sit back and change channels like a mad maniac. However..I seem to have noticed that I tend to spend a little more time on the channel that Baywatch is playing on.
These are the things:
*You cannot watch the show for David Hasselhoff
*You cannot watch the show for its story line.
*You cannot watch the show for its acting
*You cannot watch the show for the humour
*You can watch the show for Pamela Anderson
*You can watch the show for Carmen Electra
The show starts off with this typical california beach song (which Im sure David Hasselhoff sings, since hes the producer ;-))and then moves onto a typical beach based mishap or accident which basically kicks in the Slow motion.
At this point, I would advise anybody to probably watch any other channel(yes..even the maharishi thing!!)
One thing leads to another and suddenly you should notice that the show has come to an end.Wow! Where did that one hour go??
The show does promote good values all around. And there seems to be very less of violence which is a good thing after seeing stuff like Relic Hunter and NYPD Blue.
But then please tell me nobody out there watches these shows for Values!!
PS.By the way...this artcile is because somebody called Ruchi from mouthshut(I think) asked me why I had registered and not written anything.
Anything for you Ruchi ;-)
