The worlds most popular show?? I dont know how far that is true but baywatch surely is a watchable show.
So what if there are babes and hunks in swimming costumes?? so what if the girls are dressed up in tight body fitting swim suits?? The show has a good story line , handsome looking actors, beautiful actresses/models.
Moreover, all the glamour and babes are for the TRP’s and nothing wrong with that..don’t Indian serials have all those sob sob stories only cuz we indians love all those emotional stuff?? the same goes for baywatch. Sex , Beach, babes and hunks sell and how!!
Another added advantage is the lavish scale of the programme. Frankly, after watching our TV serials where the stories don’t progress outside the four walls of a house I am glad to watch a serial thats mounted on a scale more lavish then some of our hindi films.The camera effects are really superb and so is the background music. Technically this serial is really good with the producers sparing on efforts to make it look good.
A lot of people complain that baywatch only tries to show the bodies of the actors/actresses. I feel our hindi film actresses expose as much. The only diffrence is that while the baywatch girls do it wearing swimming costumes , our hindi film actresses wear saris before getting drenched in the rain!! As for the guys , how many times have we seen Salman Khan showing his bare torso? Quite frankly , I dunno why a swimming costume is considered as exposure. What do u expect life guards to wear?? if baywatch was a hindi show , we would have the cast wearing saris and leather jackets but its a american show. Moreover, should’nt we expect to see swim suits on a beach??? I don’t know why the hue and cry over exposure on this show? As for this show being bout sex, I think indians have no right to get all cranky over the sex thing. Firstly, I don’t find any sex in this show and secondly, what right does india have to complain bout sex? we gave the world the Kamasutra did’nt we? and we should go to Khajurao. And what right does the world’s most populous nation have to complain about excessive sex? what do u think our national past time is?
And yes it feels good to watch all the babes and hunks with their good bodies. we could say Baywatch promotes Good health!!
The producers can however cut down on the useless songs that only showcase the figures of the cast and speed up the pace of the serial.
