I have taken this connection two years ago in Hyderabad, so far it has been very good.I used airtel before, it is as horrible as it can get. Then I used tataindicom , the price was too high and they don’t respond well.
Later I got beam cable system and it works brilliantly so far. The speeds I get with this connection are by far the best in Hyderabad and even bsnl is costly when compared to this one. Some people have told that this is the worst Net provider. When someone tries to get a new internet connection we cannot just blindly go by the sales ad or some friends suggestion.What u must look out is
1) where their nearest office is located,
2) How many connections have been taken in that area (u can find out this from customer service)
3) How many customer support lines are available, if customer support does not respond then whats the alternative.
4) What is the nature of the problem u have been facing with previous internet connection provider
5) What technology he is using. (Old stuff like sharing telephone with internet is not suggested, the newer optical fiber ensures that you don’t need a router, and in future if u want to upgrade your speed , fiber supports upto 30MB/s speeds)
6) Also request the provider to give a written statement that if I am not satisfied I will take the installation money back. Sometimes they will hesitate but its for this sake that they will respond immediately
I don’t say all these things work for everybody But being a little cautious while taking a reliable connection will give u peace of mind. And trust me if u are residing in Hyderabad then Beam is very good.
