I have been using beam (cable) internet connection in Hyderabad for the past 6 months. Its the best as far as internet connectivity is concerned. I haven’t faced any downtime. Things go on well as long as you don’t talk to customer care / representative from their branches. They hardly know anything, they don’t follow a process. Their customer care department is absolutely hopeless. 99% of the concerns can only be resolved if you reach out to them in person at their office.
I have faced issues such as waiver off for shifting connection to another building (which they promised initially and denied later), power discount (customer gets power discount when power connection from the customer is taken to charge the box hosting cables).
Suggestion - take proof for everything they say.
Overall experience - just above average!
