I thought to paint my home and thought of doing it from Asian Paints . This was my biggest mistake. Their sales man cum technical person came and checked all the walls and suggested what kind of asian paint version are there and which version should be used in each room. The biggest thing is they take 100% advance. I paid the cheque and to my surprise when I was writing the cheque, it was in the name of Shree services and not asian paints.
It mean that Asain Paints has hired a contractor to do their services. We agreed to give the cheque to Shree services and next day the painter came. And then we came to know the painter is again a contractor from our local area who takes the paint contracts. It means we are getting work done from local contractor instead of asian paints. He started scratching one of our room and when he scratched more than half the room, he told that my walls need POP also with 2 coat putty and paint which shree services guy suggested. and POP charges will be extra :(... we called shree services person and he told me that whatever contractor is saying we need to do that.
At lst we did not had any option because one of our room was scratched, so we tod them to complete one room and not to do other rooms . we blocked our cheque and gave another cheque for one room. One room which they promise will be completed in 5 days is still not completed and its 8 days now.. The local contractor completed the paint and there was so many patches on the wall and the painter told that the patches will be there.. the color which was chosen by so call Asian paint Interior person is not correct and this color always has patches.. my wall is looking so bad with lot of patches.
Instead of paying for POP and a the costliest Asian paints, the results are zero. And that Ravi, Shee services person is not picking up the phone now.. I called him 50 times and he is not picking up the phone.
These guys are disgusting. If you want to paint your house, find a local painter and never go with Asian Paints . You will get better quality in half the price.
