Beetel CLIPs are crap

I am really frustrated with the Beetel’s phones. I might have used dozens(including 2 cordless) of Beetel’s phones since we got our Airtel landline connection at our residence. The last Beetel phone I used was P74 which I purchased on Mar 2010, and it stopped working on Sep 2011. Since the warranty period got over, so I decided to buy another Beetel’s CLIP phone which can work without batteries. So, I bought Beetel’s M52 on 16-Sep-2011 from Empire Stationery Mart, Vishal Bhavan, Nehru Place, New Delhi - 110019. The shopkeeper assured me that this phone will work even without batteries. Unfortunately, this time it stopped working after 4 days. Though I am having warranty card for this phone, but still I went to same shop asking if they can exchange my defective with a new piece. The shopkeeper checked the instrument, and found that the phone is working with batteries. This is amazing! Now the shopkeeper is saying that Beetel has updated all of their CLIP models and will work only if batteries are fitted in the phone. From the past experience with Beetel phones, I have come to know that Beetel’s phones with battery options are really crap. The first phone which we got from Airtel i.e. Touchtel phone with CID option is still working fine. We don’t use it because it doesn’t have CID. From the next time I won’t buy any Beetel phones. I guess Panasonic phones are far better than Beetel phones.

I couldn’t get Beetel M52 in the product drop-down list. So, I had to select a default option to write the review.
