I had a Beetle phone about an year back....No its not the one shown in the picture. It was a basic cord phone which was silver in colour....and had huge keypads for number.....but for the life of me....i cant remember the code of the phone.
Anyhow.....after Panaphone’s, Beetle is the second-worst phone i’ve ever encountered.
Just after purchasing the phone....i ran into a series of problems which started with chaning the phone’s status from tone dialing to pulse dialing and vice-versa.
The build quality of the phone....which was very strong....unfortuanatley wasnt complimented by the voice quality. The volume switch too was a trifle useless.....where.....even at full volume you could barely hear what the other person was shouting.
The phone....and its switches.....are its bane. The switches continually remain depressed (just the way I was feeling after purchasing the phone) even after u had dialled it....so more often than not the destination party was diffrent from the one I had intended (simply put.....i had a lot of wrong numbers).....
so if I wanted to dial a number like 78367......and the 6 was stuck....the number actually dialled would be 78366666666666....(n times....depending on how fast you got the 6 out) and then.....never the last 7....coz u know....the phone will now never connect.
but on the positive side.....the phone was quite slim.....so you could haul it around and walk miles with it....if the cord was long enough....which unfortunately was not.
All in all....an okayish buy.....if u do buy it.......buy a beetle (insect) too to put on top of your phone.....maybe....just maybe it will work better than my phone
