A story of two friends who are going to separate due to one of their family moves from the place to some where else.
Hedgehog’s family is moving away. So she and her best friend decided o spend one last time together.Hedgehog is scared to leave and also she does not want to leave her friend alone and go some where. These both are very sad and it is very hard them to think and even they do not like to separate each other and they discover that some things have to change.
After she left there her friend still there with remembering her memories. Its an emotional story which makes us to feel like crying.
The illustrations are warm and detailed which is very close to the story as well. The highlights and delicate water colors gives us the friendship feelings of these two girls as well it makes us t remember our childhood friendships.
There is a real emotion in leaving and also a hope at the end. Both has been narrated beautifully. Perfect for kids to understand and experiencing the change and the friendship.
It is a lovely story and we can make understand the children the importance of friendship. A lovely book abut moving away from a best friend which handled the subject with gentleness and pure heart.
