Cinema at it's best

It’s nine years after Jesse and Celine first met. And this time a mere reconcilement for the lead characters wont do. For Richard Linklater (writer-director) and for Ethan Hawke ( Jesse) and Julie Delphy (Celine) it was movie making history they aimed at. Now don get me wrong this movie is not meant for everyone. For proper understanding of the plot and the characters you got to watch the prequel to this movie. There is also another creteria required, you gotto understand the craft involved in making a movie of this sort. For me the locations used for the movie and the dialogues are real show stealers. The actors are in top-notch form. This is by far the best I have work I have seen of Julie Delphy. Ethan Hawke could have done better retaining his boyish looks from the prequel. For me it was seeing a great novel unravel itself visually. The best moment from the movie for me are the last lines

Celine: Baby, you are gonna miss that plane.

Jesse: I know.

And all of a sudden you realize why movies make you happy and why they make you cry. Cinema at it’s best. The movie sweeps a cool 4 of 5 in ma books.
