Partition of India - a major incident in which eleven prostitutes did not accept to part away, during partition of India and Pakistan. The story of the movie begins with attempt to rape of young girl and flashes back to scene of Begum Jaan’s house, which is under hot discussion of demolition as it is falling under border of India and Pakistan. Performance of Vidhya Balan has brilliant affect as it is really fierce. Powerful performance of Gauhar Khan has bring the movie into limelight. Chunky Pandey has done a role without which movie is incomplete. The movie has powerful music in which Asha Bhonsle has sung songs and it will take a long effort to forget the memories of the songs, the music touches the sole of listeners. Sonu Nigam and Rahat Fateh Ali Khan are awesome performers in the songs of the movie. Gopi Bhagar is linked with cinematography of the movie. All the scene and their backgrounds relate to the real past shown in the movie, as it is required in the set of movie.
