Today I would like to review and share some knowledge about Bekal Fort, two years before I visited this historical place and it was an awesome experience for me and my friends, Bekal fort is said to be the largest fort in India, This beautiful and historical fort is situated at Kasargod district in Kerala, history says that this fort 300 years old, and that is the reason tourist flood to here to have the beautiful sights here.
Bekal Fort is surrounded by Arabian sea, which give more beauty to this fort and its surroundings, a beach is there nearby to this fort and its named Bekal fort beach, which is another main attraction of this Bekal area, a beautiful garden is also there at this area which is named Rock garden which is a favorite location of Bekal Visitors.
Tree House which is locally known as Eru Madam is another attraction here, it is opened free for visitors, to have a rest over there, and it was another refreshing memory over there.
Ananthapura lake temple is another beauty of Bekal area, it is said that this temple is build in the 9 th century, this temple is surrounded by lake, I mean it is in the middle of the lake, the construction and design which was done in the 9th century is a woderfull sight, most of the tourist who visit Bekal will never miss out this temple, This temple location is very easy to catch it is just around 25 - 30 km from Bekal fort.
Manjeswaram is another main tourist place near to Bekal fort and Kasargod, the main attraction of this place is that Manjeswaram is ver well famous for having Mosques and temples, it is said that there are around 15 mosques and many temples in the same area.
