I completed my masters from a college of belgaum so I stayed here for about two years so I visited many places in belgaum.
There are many places to visit nearby belgaum city or in belgaum district, one of great thing is it is only 150km from goa so you can visit goa any weekend.
Belgaum have wide variety of historical places like kamla basti fort, kapileshwar temple, ramtirth falls etc.
Now let’s talk about nearby city places,
Belgaum fort is a huge construction within city.
Gokak falls is waterfall only 62km from belgaum city which is huge crowd attraction.
Best scenic waterfall is dudhsagar falls you will love it, just awesome scene but to reach there is bit difficult but it worth the difficulties after reaching there you’ll smashed by breathtaking scene.
Famous sweet in belgaum is Kunda, a lip smacking sweet.
There are so many restuarants which gives quality food some of them are niyaz, master chef and bahar.
Biryani is awesome in every hotel, especially in matter chef.
