I went to my old trusted shop to purchase a router. I was presented with NGear and Belkin.The shop employee recommended me Belkin for home use.The reason given is that while Netgear has 2 year warranty, Belkin has lifetime, even on Adaptor. Though I want to purchase Netgear, hearing warranty on adaptor I went for Belkin. Well with doubts in my mind, I opened the product. There was no CD! I was surprised and thought I made a wrong decision. Then there was no manual, but only 2 pages documents.
I scratched my head, went thru those and they were simple installation and security setting instructions. Well I connected the two wires, open the IP and followed 4-5 step instructions. And Vollah, I am good to go. Fairly simple and easy.
Then I noticed there is no Arial. I am used to other devices with ariel, which I can twist..so then I checked the connectivity through pinging the router and website. They both worked till ground floor. Oh, I lived on second floor. I can’t tell the exact distance, but its 45 stairs distance and it worked well.
In all, it’s good so far, and I am happy to buy this product.
