I had a most horrible experience at Belleza Pune!I have tried a lot of places, even spent nearly 20k at Kaya, Blush Clinics etc.So trust me I know a lot about these kind of places and services.Somethings can be costly but, if you see results & feel good about yourself, I feel it is worth indulging in once in a while.
I thought Belleza would be a reasonable parlor as their rates look ok for regular services. Some of the staff is fine but some are terribly irritating, trying, in fact nearly forcing you to buy products or services even after you say no 4-5 times.
I asked for a facial which cost 600 but the beautician said no do a better one for 800, then she added bleach for 400! Its all ok if the after effects are good, so I was not happy but still ok.At the billing she said it was 1400 and I was too tired from travelling to notice that it was 200 extra!
DO NOT BE AFRAID to ask questions, ask the price of services and always ask for pakka bills!Remember its your own hard earned money!
Belleza NEVER gives us clients a bill unless someone is alert enough to ask, so beware.they might be cheating innocent customers like this by overcharging!
I realized this a few days later when I saw their rate card(My bill should have been 1200) and called for an explanation, the attitude of the staff was disgusting, they said I should have taken a bill! Is it my responsibility to take a bill?
If they dont have bills.how do we know if they are paying the correct Taxes? The IT department needs to be notified of their shoddy business practices!
(BTW The facial had absolutely no effect on my face, no glow, no refreshing skin, nothing at all!)
After a lot of arguing by the girls, the branch manager agreed to return my 200. Its a small amount but I am extremely careful about my money and I definitely do not appreciate being swindled!
Now that I think back I feel a lot of times they might have overcharged us for more than what is printed on their menu card.I will never ever go there again and I advise you to goto you own local parlors instead, at least there you know the beauticians. If this had been in the US, I would have sued the company for fraud.Belleza has been a completely bakwaas experience for me.
Also although they are trying to have a Unisex parlor, we Indian women are still not very comfortable getting treatments done by men, at least I dont feel relaxed like I do in Ladies parlors. Although the guys there were very nice and decent. Just a cultural habit I guess.
