I was a member at the Ben Body studio at indiranagar. My first impression was indeed good about this place. We were shown about the facilities which were good. Ben, one of the partners showed keen interest himself, and gave me and my husband very good offers when we bargained. He promised extension of our membership etc, but all this was TOTALLY FALSE! He gave us receipts but he didn’t put the dates. We have been actively gymming for quite some years, and so, like in other gyms, we thought of trusting this guy, after all he was a partner! But all of a sudden, he told us to renew the membership, we told him about the deal he gave us, but he BLATANTLY refused Infact he refused for 2 of his commitments he promised to us!
We tried reaching to the other partners but rather than being understanding, the openly threatened us and said "DO WHAT YOU CAN DO". Now obviously we have paid, our mistake being we didn’t take everything in writing and BELIEVED on face value. One partner actually said-"how did you believe ben" .. this was ridiculous! I feel they could have been more professional about the whole thing and atleast given some credibility to their commitment!
This is incorregible! We feel cheated, and this has compelled us to write this review. Never before in our history of consumer service, have we EVER come across such a deceit. I wish I had some proof to drag them to consumer court!! So its a request- people who still want to join- GET EVERYTHING IN WRITING and dont believe ANY of the partners!!!!!!!!!
I thank mouthshut for giving this pedestal to share concerns against people and organisations who feel they can cheat and play with other people’s money and they can not do anything to them!
