There was lot of hype created by people about Benaulim beach. This beach is not well maintained and have serious cleanliness issue.
The garbage litter here and there and there are no folks nominated to clear the mess. The people and NGO’s have taken cognisance of this matter and informed state government to take adequate steps but there has been no action so far.
The tourist have high expectation from Goan beaches but when they visit here mostly they give negative reviews. The food and hotel prices are unbelievably high. Be prepared to carry snacks from nearest city Margao. Dont purchase food near the beach.
Avoid visiting this place especially in the late evening or night as there were lot of chain snatching incidents reported.
