We that is about four families with kids a total of 13 members stayed in Royal Goan resort in Benaulim. The beach was what we wanted, Uncrowded, without any loud music, or drugs imbibing phirangi’s etc. it is actually a family type crowd which was there all the time.
The restaurent, I think it was Joncy’s was really good. The place we stayed was about 1o minutes walk from the beach, but we had all our dinners and breakfast at this shack. The food was really good for the price. The service was very good. They treated us decently unlike some other costlier places where we had lunch. Those guys were fawning over some ill clad dirty phirangi’s as if they were God’s messengers and we were eating for free. It was a disgusting attitude of the hotel people. But at Joncy’s we were at home.
That too after a couple of days we had become regulars and service was tops. It became our home away from home. The beach was uncrowded for most part of the days barring the evenings when some local crowd drops in. I would highly recommend this beach for families to have a good time.
