The film ’’Bend it Like Beckham’’ is humorous, entertaining and inspiring, and will be extensively enjoyed by all.
Even though each individuals display unique characteristics they also display parallels in behaviour between families through out the film.
Humorous themes such as the links and ties in which are so similar from each family will leave you amused.
Jess is just absolutely crazy about her soccer and is willing to do anything possible to live her long life dream of becoming famous just like her idol David Beckham.
Even though Jess’s Indian family is very religious and stern about their culture they still seem to show very similar reactions as to the every day English family. Both families seem to be anti-soccer and decide that its best that their daughters should be doing girlie things such as learning to cook and sew.
The girls become rebellious towards their parents decisions and act in any way to get what they want, even if that does mean going against the families wishes and beliefs.
Language used in the film is very clear, and simple, yet at times Indonesian language is used in a funny way as they pray to their God up hanging on their wall.
Romance may get in their way of success, friendship, and trust from parents.
The acting from the characters helped demonstrate the success of this movie.
The film is taken place in England revealing many scenes of many featural attractions.
If you are thinking this film is only for soccer lovers, you are wrong, although it would help to know a little about the game. The movie isn’t only humorous but also conveys themes such as religion and culture, romance, and basic ways in which people react.
However the movie also displays uninteresting viewing points in some scenes, which arn’t really necessary for the story line, or are just plane boring.
This strongly recommended movie has been very popular and loved throughout the world. Bend it Like Beckham is a well known movie, and would be unexpected if not been seen.
