I’ve been to Bengali sweets a lot of times since childhood and our whole family used to have food here almost every or alternate weekend.
Bengali sweets has downgraded its service and food since a lot of time now and is not a nice place to visit for us now.
The servers are not interested in the customer needs as even after calling them, they don’t listen to you, and the food has become from average to worse in the last few months.
One such experience was when I ordered a simple idli sambhar there and what came was a sheer nightmare. A dry cold idli and watery sambhar is not what you would like to eat in dinner just before sleeping.
After having, the next day I turned really unwell and had food poisoning.
I would not recommend anyone to go there as they don’t consider customers as the king.( Maybe because they have been in business since a lot of years and that has made them take customers for granted)
