I watched this at INOX pune............was in the hall 10 minutes prior to the show for the first time............as I was really really impressed by the movies trailer and of course the amazing starcast..................
I was really amazed to hardly see Indians in the hall.............majority of the viewers were foreigners................
The movie started amidst all the excitement...........I could hardly believe that I was watching an animated movie as the animation was simply superb................this was my feeling only for 10 min.............
The dialogues were not effective and the movie lacked that extra bit I was expecting...........
on top of all this Angelina was looking horrible................though its an animation..........
The sound effects were good........and the movie is good to be watched as a 3D one..............
This runs on the basis of a curse which is given by female monster.............played by Angelina Jolie................to a king
This is the most horrifying curse you can imagine...........i just burst out with laughter after listening to this curse.............the monster bears the child of the king who rules that country and turns it against the king himself............wooof..............sounds great ha............ya its one of its kind...........great creativity shown by the writer....................
So the king challenges the entire world saying that whoever gets rid of this monster will be getting half of entire gold he has...........not a bad offer ha......................
Many kings come and die but our hero BEOWULF comes to the rescue of the country.................
He boasts himself...........i have never seen anyone boast so much..............oh my god........and finally plans to battle out that Angelinas monster son.................
The most amazing thing which Mr Beowulf does is he fights the monster naked saying that he want to fight the monster equally.......(the monster is naked forgot to mention)..........a big bash nd hurray...........Beowulf kills the monster............whhomp becomes the king.................
The story is not done yet..............he does the same thing which the previous king did...............he falls for the beautiful angelina and his curse starts...............this is like some chain reaction...........and the curse carries on and on...................
So I think you guys got the storyline...............overall I was dissapointed with the movie.........probably because I expected more of it.....................
