Bercos at Saket in New Delhi is mainly famous for its Chinese dishes. Located in the Metropolitan Mall in Saket, the place is usually thronged by a lot of young guys and girls in the past. I had a couple of good eat-out experiences here in the past. However, the service last time in the restaurant certainly left me disappointed.
First, the crowd there was not managed efficiently at all. The staff was just hurrying out orders without even listening to the complete order. I, along with my friends, had to wait for more than 15 minutes to get a table. My friends ordered Chill Garlic Fried Rice, Prawns, Vegetable Fried Wonton and Noodles. Almost all the dishes we had were way too salty, a major disappointment. The Vegetable Fried Wonton was delicious, but the stuffing in it was way too less. The Fried Rice dish was slightly overcooked. The noodles with bamboo shoots were nothing extraordinary either. The positive thing about the dishes, however, was the fact that almost all of them were in ample quantity.
The Veg Hakka Noodles had very little veggies in it. Adding to that, the salt-content was pretty high in this dish as well. The eating-out experience here is not economical either. We were a group of four guys and we shelled out more than INR 3500 for the dishes. Certainly, way too overpriced for the quality of the dishes. The restaurant needs to improve the dishes, bring in more variety and the staff needs to speed up the services.
