or I should say the Worst Laid Plans :) .. There are lot of questions unanswered.
My Recommendation:Please do not read this book.It is not worth wasting some 3-4 hours in completing a completely useless book.
I have a lot of questions unanswered, Read These and if you read the book, I hope you also might have the same set of questions and a few more :)
1) What was Leslie trying to do ??
a) Was she taking Revenge on Oliver Russell?
b) If so, What was her plan ??
c) was the plan to destroy his image as president , then how did she initially assume that he will become president?
d) She could have easily destroyed his campaign for becoming president , instead of doing Out country aquisitions?
e) If she was not planning to take revenge, then why did she go in bed with him at that private farm house , when he was president?
f) If she was planning to take then why just run the story with only the Building reference in story? .. she could have easily told the whole story as her image didn’t matter to her when taking revenge.
g) What fun would she get , if Oliver fails in second election, by that time he would already have enjoyed the luxury of life by becoming the president once
2) Why was Dana Evans story about the war told? it doesn’t have any relation to the story. Total wastage of some 30 odd pages
3) If Peter Tager, was the culprit of all the crimes, then what happened to Oliver’s Lust ? ... y did he ask peter Tager to get an private apartment when he was Mayor?
4) If Peter Tager, was person who used ’’ecstasy’’ .. then in the beginning when Oliver and Leslie were together , y did oliver ask Leslie to have ’’Ecstasy’’ ??
5) In the whole story, it was told that it was Oliver Russel who went to Mariam, then how come Peter Tager give the ’’Ecstasy’’ to Mariam? ..
6) Say suppose, Peter Tager is culprit for Mariam (which was untold in story) , Why did always Oliver Russell call up the Hospital and asked to remove the Life Support??
7) In the End, If Peter Tager knew that CARL had seen him, and he wanted to eliminate CARL and his Sister, then did not Simone eliminate CARL’s sister as soon as he got info of where carl is ?? or may be after he had eliminated CARL ..he could have comeback and eliminated his Sister naa??
8) Considering Peter Tager, made the above mistake of not eliminating Carl’s Sister, lets say he is accussed of killing Choule houston, but where is the proof that it was he who has done the crime? ... One cannot be placed guilty just because he was trying to save president.. Can He? .. is there any Solid proof?
Come on pals, I think too many questions in my mind.. but I truely say , from my heart Sidney Sheldon’s ’’The Best Laid Plans’’ .. is the worst of all ... Even the Title I didn’t understand why he had put...
Its a total useless book.. even an amateur can write a book like this...
If anyone can Clear my doubts .. do mail me :) .
