Selena was an American Tejano pop singer. She was given the title, "top Latin artist of the 90’s" and "Best selling Latin artist of the decade" by Billboard magazine. Some of her most unforgettable hits include Amor Prohibido(1994), No Me Queda Mas(1994), I Could Fall in Love(1995), and Dreaming of You(1995). She was tragically shot by the president of her fan club in 1995 at only 23 years of age. The biographical film "Selena" was made in 1997 and casted Jennifer Lopez as the lead. Selena’s angelic voice and legacy continues to live on. The world definitely lost a great star too soon.
