It’s a simple revenge movie, like any other that is available in the market. But, this movie or web series is consists of many twist plots. This web series haves 8 Episodes in its Season 1. IMDB has given this web series a 6.1 rating out of 10.
I loved this web series as this one has got me goosebumps. As Episodes ends, there are no twisty ends as the other web series does. Bestseller has a normal ending of every episode such as they end their every episode with a saying a name, "Chapter" to the Episode Number. This has been said by different Actors.
Acting:-
The web series is focused on basically only 4 characters, Meetu Mathur, Tahir Wazir, Mayanka Kapoor and Parth Acharya. Meetu is played by Shruti Hasan, Tahir is played by Arjan Bajwa, Mayanka is played by Gauahar Khan and Parth is played by Satyajeet Dubey.
They all played their roles, lovely. But, I have personally liked the Meetu Mathur role, that is, of Shruti’s acting. She literally, played both different roles of her, very smoothly. She has two opposites character of her in the web series. One is simple, not well educated, unknown to English language role while another one is modern with styles, clothing sense and also to gaining back the American accent English language.
In a supporting role, Mithun Chakraborty played the role of ACP named Lokesh Pramanik. His role is also, I liked, but in the second place, that is, after Shruti’s. He has been lost his wife and daughter in some of his dangerous and powerful cases and then got transferred to Mumbai and worked with CID(Crime Investigation Department).
Story:-
When I have watched its trailer, I have found out that this web series will be the average revenge type. A girl is dealing with psychological trauma because of her childhood. It is a very common topic or a story in a nowadays, world. But, when I have started to watch its first episode, then I cannot wait to see the end of this web series. I have made up my mind that, I have to see the End of this Story in a single go.
Shruti Hasan is actually the villain and the hero of the web series as well. In the first three episodes, it has been shown that the victim is Shruti Hasan. And, she is a simple woman and all crimes have happened with her as a Tahir Wazir is a good writer and also has written the book named "Raand, Saand, Seedhi Sanyasi". It has been actually based on Sant Kabir verse too and also this web series is actually been made from the novel of same too. That is original, written by Ravi Subramaniam.
After the fourth episode, the actual story starts with the pain and what Tahir has gone through with the Jaisingh Family when he was with him, lost in the icy mountains. Tahir basically stole the story of Mrs Jaisingh’s real-life incidents and become famous in the world of writing. But, Shruti as Adya Jaisingh and Parth who is actually a brother of Adya came back to Mumbai for taking revenge from Tahir and hence, made up the fake story of meetu, who has been tortured by her own father and then-husband at Rajasi city, that is situated near the bank of River Ganga.
In the conclusion, this web series is actually good and time worth it too. Like, it only has 4 episodes and each episode only has a runtime of approximately 30 minutes. So, overall, this web series is a 4-hour long movie. And, as Indians, we have a habit of seeing these long movies from our childhood. But, this movie can have more twisty plots. Because, at some point only like in the start, I have already made the story clear. Like, I believe that if the viewer is already made the entire story and made his/her mind clear of the ending of the movies, then, the story or the plot is weak.
