Bewafaa has some Wafaa in it

After the innumerable exploitations by indian producers of making remakes of ’’unfaithful’’, I walked into the cinema thinking the same thing.. that Bewafaa is another unfaithful.. it sure does have its share of copy-paste from unfaithful.. but thats only a part of the plot..

the story begins in montreal.. where Anjali (Kariena Kapoor) stays with her parents (Kabir Bedi n Nafisa Ali).. in love with Raja (Akshay Kumar) ... her elder sister Aarti (Sushmita Sen) comes to montreal for her delivery.. Anjali tells her abt her n Raja’s relation.. and Aarti promises to help em.. but after delivering twins, Aarti expires.. and circumstances make Anjali marry her brother in law Aditya (Anil Kapoor) and shift to new delhi .. the marriage is a mere compromise and Anjali realises tat she’ll never be able to take her sister’s place in Aditya’s life..

Raja re enters the scene as a famous singer .. and performs a concert in delhi.. which Anjali also attends.. lost flames light up.. and Anjali takes the extra martial route to get some love back in her life..

But Aditya’s friend Dil (manoj bajpai) and his wife Pallavi (shamita shetty) get to know about this affair and create a big time havoc for Anjali..

This is the main plot.. I aint revealing the climax.. but can definitely say.. itz a predictable show..

Director Darmesh Darshan is in form.. but not comparable with his earlier work like raja hindustani.. though bewafaa’s definately better than mela..

Music by Nadeem Shravan is good.. most of the tracks are already chart busters...

Perfomance by almost everyone is good..

Kareena gets the meatiest role and she handles it with pure conviction..

Akshay Kumar is as usual sauve and a pleasure to watch

Anil Kapoor atlast plays a role which suits his age and he’s done it well too !

Sushmita Sen is elegant.. though almost everyone wished she stayed on in movie for a longer time.

Manoj Bapjai as the evil devil is good.. though he tends to go over board at a few places.

Shamita Shetty as manoj’s better half does a decent job.

Kabir Bedi n Nafisa Ali are alrite

Overall, Bewafaa is watchable.
