Not ''unfaithful'' to the viewer!!!

The team behind the successful films, ?Raja Hindustani? and ?Dhadkan?, and some flop films, such as ?Mela? and ?Haan?Maine Bhi Pyaar Kiya?, is back with ?Bewafaa?.

This is one of the most awaited film, because of many reasons.First of all, this film has a huge and a talented star cast.

In this film, Dharmesh Darshan is working with his ?Raja Hindustani? actress Karisma`s sister, Kareena Kapoor, for the first time.We will be watching Kareena Kapoor paired with Anil Kapoor for the first time.In this film, Kareena Kapoor has gone backless for the first time and there is also a kiss sequence between Manoj Bajpai and Shamita Shetty.

Last but not the least, this film also has a wonderful music by Nadeem-Shravan.So does the film live up the sky-high expectations?

Boney Kapoor and Sridevi Productions and Sahara One Motion Pictures.?Bewafaa?, directed by Dharmesh Darshan stars, Akshay Kumar, Anil Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor, Sushmita Sen, Manoj Bajpai, Shamita Shetty, Nafisa Ali and Kabir Bedi.

It was being said that the film is inspired by the English flick ?Unfaithful? and also ?apna? Bollywood`s super-hit of 2004, ?Murder?, but this thing was being denied by the makers of this film. So, is this film really inspired by the above listed film, or is it original?

The film revolves around, tow sisters, Anjali (Kareena Kapoor) and Aarti (Sushmita Sen), who live in Montreal, Canada, with their parents (Kabir Bedi and Nafisa Ali).Aarti is Anjali`s elder sister who is married to Aditya (Anil Kapoor), and is now pregnant.

While Aarti is preparing to be a good mother, Anjali at the same time, is romancing with a wannabe singer, Raja (Akshay Kumar).Raja wants to be the biggest popstar/singer of India and dreams of getting married to Anjali. Both of them, Raja and Anjali are madly in love with each other, but Anjali finds it difficult to tell about her love to her parents, and therefore keeps this thing a secret, except for Aarti is the only one whom Anjali tells about her love.

Aarti promises that she will help them both and will also try to make her parents understand their love. With this promise, Aarti goes back to New Delhi, where she gives birth to twin babies, but the sad part is that while giving birth to the twin, she passes away, leaving her husband, Aditya, completely alone.

As Anjali`s parents feel that Aarti`s children need a mother to look after and also they have other reasons, they decide to get their daughter, Anjali married with Aditya.Anjali, being a good daughter and a good sister, gets ready to sacrifice her love, Raja. Now, Anjali turns a new leaf.

From a girl next door she turns into a typical housewife who looks after her children, who prepares breakfast for her husband, before he is leaving to go to his office. She does everything but one thing in which she fails is that she cannot give the kind of love to Aditya, what Aarti gave him and nor can Aditya love her the way as he used to love Aarti. He is too much obsessed with his past.

After three years, Anjali, meets a top singer, in the airport, when Aditya is leaving for a business trip. That ?leading singer?, turns out to be none other than, Raja.Raja and Anjali meet each other again, in such different circumstances.

As Anjali can`t get any love from Aditya, she starts dating with Raja. She gets herself involved in an extra-marital affair, but Aditya`s friends, Dil (Manoj Bajpai) and Pallavi (Shamita Shetty), a married couple know every detail about Anjali`s extra-marital affair.

Anjali is now under pressure. She has a constant fear that what if Dil and Pallavi tell Aditya about her affair?Anjali is confused. If she will be faithful to Raja, then she will be unfaithful to Aditya and vice versa. So, towards whom she will be ?Bewafaa? (unfaithful)?Raja or Aditya?

Kareena Kapoor is the hero of this film, as the film completely revolves around her and she has done a fantastic job in this film.Anjali seems to be a tailor-made role for her.She has shown the change in Anjali`s character from a young, colourful and a bubbly girl to a(n) (un)faithful housewife, brilliantly. She is excellent in the scenes, she shares with Anil Kapoor. In the second half, when she talks to Raja, after such a long time, she is excellent. This performance will definitely bring more benefits to her already brilliant career

.Akshay Kapoor is also no less.He also shines throughout the movie. In the second half, he gets lots of scope to perform and he does it really well.He is excellent in the scenes, he shares with Kareena Kapoor, in the second half, when he meets her again.

Anil Kapoor is also competent, in a role which suits him to the ?T?.His reaction to his wife`s tragic death and then the way he deals with his new wife, who was once upon a time his sister-in-law, is all done beautifully. The way he acts, you can very well relate with the character he is playing and not at all, will you feel as if you`re watching Anil Kapoor. You will feel as if you`re really watching a person called Aditya, on the screen. The actor completely overshadows Anil Kapoor, the star and brings out Aditya, the character he is playing.

Manoj Bajpai is just about okay, as Dil.Personally speaking, the role didn`t suit him that well, and he should stick to his serious kind of roles, which he has done previously. The witty, funny and a bit crazy character of Dil, doesn`t go that well with his image.

Shamita Shetty as the bitchy and wicked Pallavi, does an excellent job.

Sushmita Sen, in her brief role, leaves a strong impression on the viewers. She performs very well, in the scene, where she tells Anjali that she will convince her parents to get her married to Raja. She looks very sweet.

Kabir Bedi and Nafisa Ali, lend able support.

Dharmesh Darshan`s direction is good.He has handled some scenes, very sensitively. The light scenes between Anjali, Raja and Aarti, in Montreal are fun to watch. After some light moments, when the story takes a twist, those sequences are also executed brilliantly, with lots of drama in them.

The scenes between Aditya and Anjali, when they get married and feel awkward in such a relationship, are interesting to watch. The track, where Anjali is imprisoned due to driving her car fast, and causing an accident, is well executed. The re-entry of Raja takes your expectations higher, but that is exactly where the film slows down.

There is no drama afterwards, and the film starts looking monotonous.Anjali and Raja, hiding their relationship from Aditya and Dil and Pallavi following them, seem to bore the audiences, but the film ends up on a good note, and its climax is well shot.

Screenplay of the film is fine, but Anjali getting married with Aditya, so easily, seemed a bit unnatural. You just fail to understand whether she truly loves Raja or not, because she gives up so easily. Also, the reasons of her getting married with Aditya, don`t seem too convincing.
