I bought this film. My excitement was real. I made popcorn called my kids. I had loved this show as a kid and was happy to sit down with my family to watch. However, we were disappointed. As soon as the popcorn bowl emptied, I had to keep begging the kids to come back with promises of ’’it has to get better! be patient’’ but alas, I was wrong. The film was OK probably because of the good actors, but the storyline was weak and I was miserably disappointed. I started out with such high hopes, but maybe that’s the problem. Younger people in my class at school however, assured me I am not old, they didn’t enjoy it either, ’’boring’’ was their response. So next time they make a film about one of my childhood shows, I will think twice before I spoil the memory!
