A LaUGhtER MaRAthOn... ; )

Bhagam BHag...is not just a comEdy FLick...its has got...Every Thing...Suspence, Romance and A STORY(which is normally missing in comic movies)...

STORY:

Bunty(Akshay) and Babla(Govinda) are two fun-loving but naughty natured guys in Champak’s(Paresh Rawal) theater group. However these two always keep getting into trouble because of their flirtatious nature. During a rehearsal Bunty begins to flirt around with the lead heroine (Tanushree) of the play. Unfortunately she takes offense and walks out of the play. Now the entire theater group is left in the lurch as they have just been offered to perform their play in London. The fate of the play now depends on Bunty and Babla finding a girl to play the female lead in time. They strike gold when Bunty meets the beautiful Munni (Lara); unfortunately the girl has her own set of problems with amnesia and suicidal tendencies being just a few.

Meanwhile the notorious duo Bunty and Babla also somehow manage to get involved with drugs and a drug lord (Manoj Joshi) is now after them. Bunty and Munni are also weaving their own love story, but suddenly things take a twist when she regains her memory to find a husband (Arbaaz Khan) tumbling out of her closet of skeletons. And things go from bad to worse when a murder takes place and the accused are none other than Bunty and Babla. Will these two be able to get themselves out of these problems which don’t seem to end?

Stats:

Positives:

# The first half of the movie is fair enuf and has a regular pace n also sum binding material...

# Akshay, Govinda, Paresh, Rajpal perform well n make thru effortlessly...Manoj Joshi, Sharath Saxena, Shakti Kapur are in true form n they perform well too...Jackie, Arbaaz, Lara, Tanushree are mediocre but perform well in thr small roles.

# The songs are foot tapping especially the track Signal is gud.

# Cinemetography is top notch...Background score is awesum, Art is equally gud.

Negatives:

# The editing has not been kept check upon.

# There is too much off confusion after sum 2 hrs of action of screen as every1 is running around everywhere in London.

# The suspence material is quite weak, n does not leave ne impact on viewers...too much of characters sideline eachother in both halvs[except Akki n Govinda]...

# The script hs all the situational part missing, most of the humour is slapstick...May be the climax is humourous, but its so unreal that even a kid won’t be much happy.

Good Scenes:

# The scene where Akshay n Govinda meet Sharath Saxena.

# The scene where Shakti kapoor falls into a manhole.

# The scene in which ever1 is chasing Akshay

# Sharath throws a bomb n Paresh tries to eat it...n so on...

Overall Bhagam bhag is just an entertainer...for timepass...which requires no brains n no thinking of audience while watching...

Thank You
