This is a review of Yash Resorts, Bhandardhara
One of the numerous weekends in Pune, we headed to Bhandardhara. The place is en route to Nasik and you will pass various small towns that you would have heard of like - Akola, Sangamner, Khed, etc.
Bhandardhara is blessed with serene natural beauty, very typical of Western Maharashtra. You get to see lots of waterfalls, hills and greenery. We spent some time playing around and clicking photographs. We then started towards MTDC resorts. As usual we were told that the place is full and has no accommodation. So we left MTDC and started looking for places around. We went to Yash Resorts as that was the only logical option. Anandvan is too expensive and beyond our budget.
At Yash Resorts, the security guard asked us whether we have a reservation, to which we replied in negative. He straight away told us that there are no rooms and we should not go in. I think these people were paid by locals or other resort owners so that they can divert traffic to them. Neverthless, we went in and enquired at the reception. To our pleasant surprise there was one room available which can accommodate all 5 of us - 3 girls, 2 boys. As we were looking at only a one night stay, we took that room. It was a deluxe AC room with TV and a nice sofa-cum-bed. We also took food from the restaurant, which was 300/- per head unlimited buffet.
Overall the experience was good as the rooms were clean, the view is great, ample parking space and courteous staff.
