Bad service. Good start but was just for show.

It was a good start. The trial session made my kid fall in love with math and liked his teacher very much which was the reason we signed up prepaid for multiple sessions. It was expensive, but at that time, we thought that it was going to be worth it. My child pleaded for me to enrol him. It all started falling apart when Bhanzu changed the schedule without our consent. My kids have other activities scheduled (swimming, basketball, piano, dance, therapy and soccer). Yes, my kids are booked because it is what makes them happy. However, Bhanzu has been inconsiderate and changed the session without our consent . But there was an email though… however that wasn’t enough because we have other schedules that we cannot just simply change. That was strike 1!


And due to this change, my kid comes in late (as my other child goes to therapy sessions and we have to drive back home). My kid ended up getting scolded during his class for something he didn’t intend to do. What we did in the end. I bring a laptop , if we forget the laptop, I let him use my iPhone and we park on the side of the freeway or a petrol station for 1 hour, just so that he can be on time. So much inconvenience for us. That was strike 2!


They changed the teacher without talking to us. That was strike 3!


My child was having problems understanding the new teacher and he was very unhappy. He said my teacher talks in English but I don’t understand her English. I can’t understand anything. He complained to me. I tried to reach out to Bhanzu but there is no person available to help right away. You call the contact me number on the app but it’s unreachable or ring their what’s app, but no answer. You are only left to send an email and send them a what’s app message which takes a while to get a response. That’s their strike 4!


After almost 2 weeks, I was contacted but nothing was done. So I told my kid to try to be patient and just let the teacher know that he doesn’t understand. But my kid grew frustrated even more because the teacher will just go on . So he started to hate attending Bhanzu. My kid cries to me and says he doesn’t like his teacher. I emailed Bhanzu again but they said nothing can be done as that is his batch session. Strike 5!


I told my kid to be more patient and I would explain the same lesson to him after his class so that he understands. He was ok until the teacher comes in late (15 minutes), or disappearance 20 minutes while session is on (leaving my child waiting), or ends the session 15 minutes early, or turns the camera off and not talking. This happened every session and my kid grew even more frustrated. I reported this many times and Bhanzu kept saying they will investigate and will not happen again. But kept happening still. Strike 6!


The teacher scolds my kid for not doing his worksheets. We repeatedly told Bhanzu and I told his teacher that the worksheets go to a dead link. Using different browsers, clearing cache, it’s not loading. We reported to Bhanzu support but no reply was received. Strike 7!


I told Bhanzu that we will be away and need to pause the sessions. I had to reach out to them through different channels as I was not getting a reply. Until someone actually contacted me. Discussed my issues and he said that the sessions will be paused while we are away and we will be returned to our original schedule after we are back from holidays. However, another person kept calling me saying he can change the session now, but gives me a schedule that is inconvenient on our part. I said we will keep current session and the new session (our original schedule) after the holiday. But he kept calling and calling reminding me that we have to change it now. Different people from Bhanzu have called so I have to explain over. I told that we cannot go with the schedule they are suggesting us because of conflict with other schedules and if it will cause inconvenience on our part we just wish to cancel and request a refund for our remaining 68 sessions. Until the call disconnected and when I ring back , it’s just ringing out. Strike 8!


Come the session, my kid said the app is not showing any session and it was saying it was his last session last week . But there was no confirmation from us. The last discussion was, we finish the current session, pause the sessions while on holidays and new session (back to original) after we are back. But it seems Bhanzu didn’t coordinate well. I reached out to Bhanzu and they said they already paused it and they will put us in a session once there is one open for us! This is just nuts! Strike 9! That was the last straw.


I told Bhanzu that we just had enough and we just want to cancel and get our refund on what’s app. But then again they asked what’s the problem when the issue is seen on the message history. I can’t believe they get to strike yet another! Strike 10!


I have told our sentiments and issues. The representative was apologetic and says someone will contact us but when that someone did. Instead of talking about the refund, the representative wants to talk about the new session. I already said, it has caused us a lot of inconvenience, I’m no longer happy with their service and my kid is suffering, with me forcing him to sit and not understanding anything at all!


It’s just too much! This company is difficult to deal with. No compassion and enough support is provided. Once they get the money, they do not care! We still have 68 sessions left and I don’t know how we can get our money back because the support they promised is not what we are getting. This is my honest review from experience.
