Before I start my review, please note that the positive reviews you see are not genuine. This is a fraudulent business. There are more than 40 percent one-star reviews, and to hide them, fake 50 percent five-star reviews are being posted.
I am writing to raise a serious concern about the misleading and unethical practices being carried out jointly by Bhanzu (online maths education platform) and Fibe (formerly EarlySalary Services Pvt. Ltd.), which are causing financial and emotional distress to parents.
In September 2024, I enrolled my son for Bhanzus maths classes after a convincing demo session. The experience afterward was completely different and extremely disappointing.
The teacher assigned was entirely different from the demo instructor.
There was a delay of almost 20 days between course confirmation and the first class.
When classes began, the teacher was consistently late by 10 to 15 minutes and ended sessions early.
Effective class time was barely 30 minutes, and the teacher showed no real effort to teach or engage the kids.
I raised multiple complaints, but Bhanzus support team repeatedly made false promises saying well resolve it in 12 days, teacher will change, or well audit the class. None of these commitments were fulfilled.
My son attended only 8 classes (2 per week) before it became clear that Bhanzus operations lack sincerity and structure. I finally told them to stop immediately, as my son was losing valuable study time and had lost trust in Bhanzu.
Worse, Bhanzu made me take a loan through Fibe, which was approved instantly without proper verification. The full amount of ₹60, 000 was paid directly to Bhanzu, and I am now being forced to pay monthly EMIs of ₹3, 340 for a service that was never delivered properly. We already paid the October and November installments, hoping Bhanzu would resolve the issue, but nothing has changed.
This points to a serious loophole and possible collusion between Bhanzu and Fibe. The entire process from the hard-sell demo to the instant loan approval seems designed to trap parents financially, while both companies deny responsibility once payment is made.
After checking online, I found many similar complaints from other parents describing the same pattern poor-quality classes, refusal to refund, unresponsive support, and fake positive reviews clearly written by their own staff.
I have already filed a Consumer Grievance and a Cyber Complaint, but neither Bhanzu nor Fibe has offered a genuine resolution. Fibe insists I keep paying EMIs until Bhanzu confirms cancellation, and Bhanzu simply refuses a refund or accountability.
This situation is unacceptable. Online education should empower children, not exploit parents.
I request urgent action from authorities to:
Investigate Bhanzu for false advertising, misrepresentation, and use of fake reviews.
Audit Fibes loan approval process for ignoring basic KYC and income checks.
Direct Fibe to pause EMI deductions while the case is under dispute.
Strengthen consumer protection against loan-linked edtech frauds that are becoming increasingly common.
