I want to mention about the bad service of the Bharatgas agency, Madam Enterprises, Madivala, Bangalore.
When someone wants to do the refill booking over phone, they have to be considered really lucky if they get the line through, since most of the times, the phone will be kept OFF HOOK, to avoid customer calls. Eventhough they had provided 3 landline numbers and 2 mobile numbers, NONE goes through usually.
That apart, they had started a new practice of claiming the delivery without actually doing it( and possibly selling the cylinders in black market in the process), and I want their patrons to be beware of the same!
I had done a refill booking on 2-1-10 and as usual, they promised delivery 10 days after. I got a call on 12-1-10( from a mobile number) from the gas delivery person, and he wanted to know whether I was available at home, right then, to collect the delivery.
I told OK, and then he told me that he will come next day to deliver the refill ( I don’t know why the hell he checked up whether I was available, if he was to deliver the next day). After that he didn’t turn up till monday, 18-1-10. I called up the agency office and enquired about the refill delivery which I had booked on 2-1-10. I provided the refill booking number too. Giving me a great shock, they told me that I had already collected the refill cylinder on 12-1-10 and they have the acknowldegement slip signed by me as a proof for the same!. I contested that I had not collected any cylinder and not signed any slips.
Later on, I called the delivery person( on the number from which I had received a call on 12th) and enquired abt the promised delivery. He immediately confirmed to me that he would deliver the cylinder on the same day. Later he arranged the cylinder from some other Bharatgas agency & sent through some other delivery person. Neither any Ack slip, signed & collected from me Nor was I provided with my copy of the bill.
This incident clearly indicates that the delivery person sold the cylinder on 12th, in black market and possibly had given the acknowledgment slip to the agency putting fake signature of mine. The delivery person name is Harish, and he serves to the Bellandur area. Beware of him. I had filed a complaint to BPCL regarding this incident and let me see what is their response.
