I have recently moved from Hyderabad to Banglore. I have got quotes fron multiple vendors like Agarwal, Vijay Packers. All visited home and have given quotation including al the charges as 22000 and they have also mentioned that they will give 10% discount . Since My budget and reimbursement amount is low for me, I had opted for Bharat packers and movers.
They also visited my place. They had given a quote of 18700/- for door to door delivery. Since the cost is low I have opted for it and paid token advance 1000. They have given a slip in which it was mentioned 18700. Everything was set and ready to move. On the day shipment, after packing all the stuffs and loading on the vehicle, they had given me an heart breaking surprise saying that total amount in 30000/- . When I fought for it they told that the total issued during quotation doesnt inlcude insurance and ST. I was so shocked because all other vendors who have issue quotation has computed the total amount including insurance and ST. This is how these guys play. They will quote less exluding all others extra stuff.
So please be carefull. These guys are very smart players and they talk nonsense. The trouble doesnt end here. They shifted things to banglore. Before dispacthing they called and asked me that what is address to deliver things(Which I have already mentioend to them while shiiping). I have told it third floor. They asked whether I have lift or not. I have clearly told that I have life but it cant be used to life heavier items.
They had arrived at the permisses and started delvering things, they started using the lift for all the goods irrespective of heavier and smallers goods. So the flat commity told that they cant use lift. They were arguing with me that they cant lift the goods. They will leave as such and leave. I had to argue with them literally saying that I will pay extra money to shift the things. They are saying that they wont shift to third floor without lift since they have less number of people.(Three people came) .
Who is responsible for sending people? The packers has to send extra people to lift the things. The workers are very much violent. They were demanding extra 1500 for move the things up.
Some how I have managed them to get things upstairs paying 700/- where still they used the lift irrespctive of Flat commities order not to use lift. So in total my expense was
22000(No tax and insurance) . They have told extra amount somehow I have convinced them from 30000 to 22000.
22000+ loading charges for workiers 600+ unloading charges 700. Which they claim as included in 22000.
Only one thing I was satisfied with this vendor is packing fragile items.
So Please be careful while quoting with these guys, They are very clever.
I would sugust not to opt for this guys, they are very un professional.
