To all who know about P. Unnikrishnan’s voice~
His voice is outstanding and in someways he can wow just a few international people. He even wows those who know nothing about carnatic music. Uncle Unnikrishnan knows where it is at and he lends credence to the meaning of nightengale ’’ who sang in Berkley Square.’’ I wish Uncle Unnikrishnan would come back to Phoenix, Ariozna to give another performance at Arizona State University( A.S.U. ) Well that is all, but to those who don’t know anything about his voice, research him on the Web or buy one of his CD’s and listen to a nightengale’s voice! When one is jogging in the park or playing tennis or even studying his voice will soothe your heart.
I remember doing a dance sung by him when I was very small. He is a great maestro, and if I ever got the chance to listen to him live I would. I have never gotten the chance, but one of these days I will and I suggest that the rest of you do too. Also one more thing to add his best song is Aadi Kondar. I listened to that song sung by Aunty Sudha Ragunathan and I think he did a better job. Hey listen to all his songs. Life’s best medicine!
