I subscribed for privilege matrimony about 2 months ago and all I can say is that its a money making gimmick. My understanding of the privilege matrimony feature was that a relationship manager will help you through the process of finding a suitable match. My parents dont know how to use a computer and I felt that the relationship manager will be able to help in contacting the prospects after a short-list from me.
Sadly, this is not true. The relationship manager I was assigned didn’t even contact me for the first week. So I had to call him. Each time I called him, I got the same reply "sir, I was just looking at your profile". He would then send 4-5 prospects, to which I would immediately reply my liking. Then again silence for 1 week. I would again call him and he wouldn’t even know which prospects I had chosen, forget about having contacted them. This process continued for 3 weeks, after which I decided to take control of my profile myself. Now I track the profile on my own, doing the job I hoped the relationship manager would do. The cost difference between a simple paid membership and the privilege matrimony is almost 10K, but from a user standpoint there is no difference.
But that is not the end of story, I complained to bharatmatrimony and personally went to their offices. I was told, that they would change my relationship manager, but nothing has happened. The state of their offices made me really suspicious about their business. They didn’t have a simple chair to sit on.
I urge anyone looking to get married, avoid this site. Or just go for the simple paid membership and follow it up on your own.
