I had been contacted by Bharat Matrimony people in the month of April 2012. They took Rs16000 and promised that they would find an alliance for my daughter. And also promised that they would refund the money if they were not able to find a groom for my6 daughter.
I made the payment in May 2012 in cash. They gave me the receipt also. They appointed a Manager named Lakshmi who used to send boy profiles in emails. In 3 months they just sent emails regarding the boys profiles. We never met any boy in person and not even on phone.
After 3 months when they failed to give us the good service we asked them to refund our money. But they refused bluntly!
They didn’t refunded even 1 paise. Their management is so bad that they didn’t even talked to us properly! Their manager Rachna Arora was so rude and her behavior was very bad. Their argument was that we should have asked for refund within 1 month of making the payment. I fail to understand when the contract was for 3 months how would we ask for refund within 1 month!
We are not the only victims. There are so many innocent people who were cheated by this company!
