Ms Bhargavi Kunam is listed as one of the top fashion designers in Hyderabad. DO NOT fall for this ruse which is a result of her massive online campaigning. If only she put half that effort into actually delivering her products!
Firstly, Ms Kunam is not a designer. She has no idea which color/fabric/model suits a client. She has a collection of designs downloaded from the internet (from other designers) and she has a team of skilled tailors who can copy any design with precision. So, she is an expensive tailor.
She overcharges for everything. Any dress/saree made to order will cost you at least 40 grand. (Which is okay if she actually made it for you and not copied it from the internet.)
But the worst part is her indifferent and nonchalant attitude towards her clients. There is absolutely no accountability on her part. She has no respect for her clients’ time or money. She is never available on the phone. All her calls are answered by her assistants who always reply with a ’Madam is not available’. If you are unfortunate enough to be persuaded to place an order with her, you will end up spending all your time in following her up... and will most probably not receive your dress/saree in time. (which is what happened with me, and Ms Kunam was so busy that she didnt even bother to call me upon learning that I cancelled my order in frustration after one month’s wait)
Trust me, for that kind of money you can purchase items of vastly superior quality from actual designers like Tarun Tahiliani (which is what I ended up doing).....
