I want to bring to attention the type of scams being done by IIFL+ Bharti AXA
All this started last year 2022 December, I got a call from a lady saying she is calling from Bajaj Finance, and they are providing Loan at 0%.
During this time, I was looking for a loan hence thought of listening to what they were providing, I spoke with the lady who asked basic questions like(Name, Age, Profession, CTC) then passed on the call to another person who said is the manager who will further guide.
Still wanted to hear more about the offering, I spoke with person named Vikas Gupta(+91-928949xxxx) who said Bajaj Finance is providing 0% interest loan and it will be Loan on Life Insurance Policy so I will need to purchase policy worth 10% of the loan requirement.
I had all the doubts of this being genuine or not but this person was so good at convincing I still went through each step carefully.
First, they asked me how much loan I require; I told them around 20 Lakhs, so I was told to upfront purchase 2 Policy worth 1, 90, 000/-
These people are so into this scam they know all the loopholes, I was told by Vikas Gupta that when the verification happens from Bharti AXA do not disclose anything about taking loan on behalf of the insurance and if I do the insurance will not be provided.
I got convinced into purchasing the 2 policies and then their play started. I was called and messaged by this person everyday saying they are processing the loan and kept asking to share some or another documents.
Their main moto was to make sure to keep me engaged till the freelook period is over then nothing can be done,
I wrote to Bharti AXA but nobody cares or wants to know what happened and how these people are scamming, I started looking into such scam and found that Bharti AXA & IIFL are engaged, and Bharti AXA is fully aware of the methods of how these agents from IIFL are scamming people, but they will never disclose.
I have all the evidence and thought Bharti AXA will understand and help me but as they don’t care how their business runs so they will never help, I feel cheated and have lost trust, I want everyone to be aware of such scams and keep away from such agents.
