This is one of the top ten colleges of India. It is huge and beautiful with many sincere professors and merit students contributing towards it beauty.
Since mumbai colleges hardly have anything to say about their campuses lets begin from there. The college campus is enormous. It is one of the very few colleges having a cool campus. It has a big playground, a gymkhana, 2 canteens on campus and a hotel right outside (which is considered just another canteen), a huge botanical garden, a calm lake and also a peaceful temple. it has 3 buildings: A chemistry building with a mathematical department on top floor, main building consisting of majority of classrooms, biology, physics and microbiology departments on top floors, a library building with a huge library with quite a choice of books, a reading rooms, few classrooms, and the language department.
Bhavans is one among the oldest colleges of mumbai carrying a fairly good reputation all along. The professors are mostly great (only if u really bother to pay attention). The college is fairly linient and surprisingly have students on a more or less good behaviour too!
If there was anything wrong with the college this is it:
1.The building is not painted (now, finally it is! and it looks good!)
2.Some professors are weird (like in every college)
3.College itself does not have much to do with discipline
The college does not have a fixed type of crowd unlike other colleges. You will find studious kids, nerds, fun loving people, timepass kind and also the snobbish kind. Of course u will find a mixture of these too.
And as I said the magic continues, students from this college have kept making it to the merit lists and you will find that many great guys are from here!
